![]() ![]() Im really new in Color management and calibrating so please be tolerant and any help will be great And are there any more licenses from Heidelberg to buy to achieve that? I dont know if profiles generated by non-Heidelberg software are compatible with Meta Dimension - can i make linearization for Suprasetter without and add-on licenses? I want to buy complete measure/calibrating equipment to make myself new linearization for CTP (Heidelberg Prinect) and all other necessary profiles to make standarized print jobs. So i think, it will be better, i choose some more brand independent software. But i dont know if i would have only Heidelberg machines. When my all presses would be Heidelberg it wouldnt be any problem - Prinect Color ToolBox is great. ![]() I have thought about X-Rite i1iO but i dont know what software for that. When some job could not be printed as it comes from CTP i can make some curve corrections on Meta and make new plates.Īnd here are my questions. Operator measure by X-Rite 508 dot gain and optical density on print shit and eventually makes any corrections.ĥ. Meta Dimension rips files and Shooter prints platesĤ. My main goal to achieve is standardization of print process:Ģ. Please tell me, if im wrong or not, all i have to buy is spectrophotometer and software for that? So i want to buy some equipment and software to do that. I dont want to pay Heidelberg service all times they come and calibrate our CTP (linearization, dot gain etc.) I think, it would be great when i could make those calibration myself. Year 2012 is important for us because we will replace one of our presses for brand new Heidelberg or new Ryobi and it is main case i have to develop standardization in our printshop. CTP - Heidelberg Prinect Workflow: Signa Station, Meta Dimension, Shooter and Suprasetter A74 (in 2 months it will be A75)ģ. I prepare our printshop for standardization so i have some questions. ![]()
